When Rosy, Joy and Abigail lost their parents, it was a devastating experience. They missed out on being tucked in bed or read bedtime stories, not to mention the unconditional love that emanates from parent that every child craves for. Rosy, Joy and Abigail’s request for food, shelter and education compelled us to create the nonprofit organization- Divine Mercy Family Foundation. Since our founding we continue to provide children and youth access to meals, medical and obstetric care, education and entrepreneurial opportunities. We are most grateful to individuals like you, families, friends and our strong Look Good Feel Good Running community for all your help and support. We are proud to say that Rosy, Joy and Abigail have completed high school education and in process of transitioning to University of California colleges to begin new academic journey. Our commitment is to continue to support youth and students in acquiring skill and knowledge needed to change the world and become a better version of themselves. In a special way we thank Coach Mama Lisa for being our inspiration in initiating this race and Dr. Carter, the only runner who showed up amidst a torrential down pour during our first race four years ago and you our talented athletes. In these uncertain times we have obligations to foster the education of young adults. We welcome your continued support. Join us to promote a common good that unites us all. Here is how you can help.
